How to convert a PDF to an interactive presentation
In this digital age, one of the biggest challenges is migrating from software we know, to software we love.
During the technological boom, this may have taken the form of standing a whole day by the scanner to digitalize all of that pesky paperwork. Nowadays, however, we are more used to the unanimous groan around the office, as it is announced we’ll being training in and using a new software.
If you’re reading this, you may be interested in becoming a Prezentor user. Don’t let the above information discourage you – we know the struggle of migrating, no matter how easy the new software may be – and that’s why we’ve got you covered. If you’re an existing Prezentor user, then I’m sure you have our backs on this!
The first handy dandy tool we released was the PowerPoint to Prezentor converter. If your eyes light up at the sound of this, be sure to message our Help Center Support to receive this wonderful little plugin download. Yes, we realized that most of our clients are moving away from PowerPoint and looking for something newer, fresher, and with all the bells and whistles included.
While PowerPoint is a great tool, it will never be able to match the power that Prezentor can offer when it comes to Sales and Marketing, as we proudly call ourselves the Next Generation Presentation Tool That Helps You Sell More, and we stand by that.
With our ability to provide analytics, statistics, and tracking, you’ll be able to get your insights automatically before, during, and after your Sales process, which is simply not possible with one of the ‘old reliables’ like PowerPoint. Similarly, we’ve added numerous design and interactive features to move away from the old PPTX template format and bring something new (and dazzling) to your Sales meetings.
The PowerPoint Converter does exactly what it sounds like it should do – it converts PowerPoint presentations into a Prezentor presentation. All the bells and whistles? Yep, we’ve got you covered; all images will be converted to an image, all text to text, and so on, so that once you’ve got your presentation in our editor, you can continue to edit all the details as much or as little as you like.
If you’d like to see more about this process, simply check out our Youtube guide.
But wait, that’s not all! You also have the option to extract specific elements, so that you can use all of PowerPoint’s features in your Prezentor presentation. Want a specific PowerPoint arrow? You got it! Find out how to do that by visiting our Help Center and checking out our step-by-step article.
But what do you do when you have a PDF you want to turn into a presentation? Your old methods may have included going through the painstaking task of saving and copying each element, or even worse, sitting with the PDF on one screen and a blank presentation on the other, and trying to recreate it. Or maybe you took the “easy” way and just uploaded each page as an image, but then struggled when it became time to edit?
When we say “work smart, not hard” we mean it! So here’s our PDF to Prezentor hack.
Until our geniuses in the development room can create a tool as powerful as the PPTX to PRZ in PDF format, a quick Google of “PDF to PPTX” will do the trick. We recommend the website www.smallpdf.com but whatever works for you, go for it.
Once you’ve converted the PDF to a PPTX, all you need to do is use our handy PowerPoint Plugin and convert it as you normally would a PPTX, and hey presto, a completely editable presentation at your fingertips! Now wasn’t that easy?
Once your PDF or PPTX is in Prezentor, you can choose to leave it as it is, so that when you send it out you’ll receive all the tracking and statistics your business (and heart) desires, or else you can go one step further in your Quest To Be Up To Date, and use our cool design and interactive features to spice it up and wow your clients.
No need to thank us, just get on out there, and make some great presentations which leave a lasting impression.
